Thanks for this Steve. It’s always great to hear inside the mind of a favourite author.

Can’t wait for the next Eddie Flynn instalment.

Ooh, I am glad I subscribed as I had forgotten I'd signed up. :)

Great to see the Q&A and lots of answers from an author whose books I really enjoy. I read a wide range of Crime Fiction, and Steve's books give than nice lean into the courtroom which most of the crime fictions I read don't even touch on. (They catch the baddies and then be done with it. Or kill them, hahaahaha).

Looking forward to the next book.

Dear Mr Cavanagh, God I love Eddie Flynn, Block, Kate, Harry, Jimmy the Hat and , of course Clarence. I love how Eddie is perfect in his imperfection. I would love you to explore Jimmy more, if possible and have a member of Jimmy's family abducted. That even sounds awful as I write it. Bring Mr Berlin and Mr Anderson in and we rock and roll. Just joking. Anything you write I will love dear Sir. Could you give me a ball park timeline for the next instalment? Please I do not mean to pressure, but I live for this series. My favourite is Fifty-Fifty and a very close second is The Devil's Advocate although I loved the Accomplice especially with the introduction of Gabriel Lake. So, in essence I love every book you have written. Love your work and may you enjoy all the great things you have as a result of this series. You deserve it!

I love Eddie Flynn and his group of misfits - always looking forward to what they do next! Was Harper's death planned, or did you decide on it as you were writing the story? It was heartbreaking to read as she was one of my favourite characters. Do you regret killing her off in the series?

Hi Steve, finished twisted book not long ago.

If I am getting it right, Maria killed Paul and tried to change the story because she felt the truth was too brutal.

I am finding it hard to understand why she did that? My mind goes to the money but I feel it’s more than that.
